Components Placement

For this operation software needs centroid files to be provided as an input. Software starts with an overview of what is going to be placed:

Then the software goes through all component types you use and invites you to put a reel or tape with required components on a panel:

Then, component placement screen gives you all the controls you need to pick the components from a reel (or tape) and place them on your board. The software automatically calculates pick up and placement positions and component orientation, based on the panel information and centroid file data – you don’t have to remember which component goes where in which orientation:
